Today when i browse comments in the forums, i see that they are all labeled "Normal", regardless of their actual score. Is that a bug?

I was noticing this too. At first I was going to say that it seemed to be fixed when I looked last night, but now I see that in this discussion, the first two posts don't have such notations, but the last two do. Wonder if that'll change after I post.

I've also noticed that there's been very little to meta-moderate for the last few days. A related issue, since everything is normal? Or are people just not using their mod points?

We've got the answer [goats.com] to this.

So we just need to lie back, trust Phillip, and wait for things to return to... umm... normal.

Maybe women with fire on their heads are Phillip's drinking buddies. I would think that fire code at the Peculier wouldn't allow that, but I'm not in NYC, so what do I know about it?

Anyway, thanks, Phillip. Feels good to be recognized as abnormal again.

Normal Meta-moderation (Score: 2)
posted Saturday, December 17, 2005 - 12:21 PM (#30934)
For several days in a row i have noticed a new bug which is extremely minor and harmless, but maybe you'd want to know. When i proceed to perform daily Meta-moderation, the page at first appears to have an error. Each of the comments are presented without their scores; instead i see only empty parentheses:
( )

When i 'reload' or 'refresh' the page in any of my browsers (Camino and Safari were the ones i've used this week), the scores magically appear inside those empty parentheses and the page becomes ordinary and error-free, as it always used to be. I can then proceed with meta-moderation as usual, and notice no further obvious issues.

The next day after midnight Goats Standard Time when Meta-moderation is to be performed again, this situation reoccurs exactly as it had one day earlier.

Today's meta-moderation appeared to work perfectly, as it had up until a couple weeks ago. So all corrections look (to me) like they were successful.
