Financial Desperation Week, Day 3: Handmade Goats Jigsaw Puzzles

Wednesday, August 20, 2008 - 11:07 AM

I'm really excited for today's Financial Desperation Week offering. My buddy Chris Yates makes every one of his Baffler! jigsaw puzzles by hand. Each puzzle is a unique, beautiful, wooden piece of art. So you can imagine how jazzed I was when Chris agreed to make some Goats Baffler!s for you guys.

I got to see the first few puzzles at San Diego Comic-Con, and they came out fantastic. They would probably make an amazing Christmas present or look good mounted on a wall.

The "I Live In Beer" Fish Baffler! has 22 pieces and measures 9" x 6.5" x .75".

The Infinite Monkeys Baffler! has 48 pieces and measures 10.5" x 9" x .75".

I'll be taking orders on these until September 1, and then Chris will start cranking them out. Please allow 4-8 weeks for delivery of these due to production time.

Click through to the comments for more Baffler! photos.

As the proud owner of a custom Baffler! [fleen.com], I can assure all that the workmanship is beyond reproach, the puzzling is good times, and the price is a bargain.

Jon,

Will you sign them? I just ordered one of each.

They are much nicer than a donation jar.

These look incredibly cool and I'm very likely to get a monkey one, but it strikes me that Steve's missing mouth and eyes detracts from the appeal.

Would it be possible to get one with eyes and mouth? :)

I'm happy to fill in the details if people want, I will draw them in myself! Also I will sign the back unless you request that I do not.
