I enjoy the Dungeons And Hampsters story-line which actually proves that the two aliens are interchangable.

In the 5th strip Bob is wearing the viking hat, however he is the one wearing the chef's hat in the 8th and final one meaning that either they are interchangable, or even if they wear hats (or koalas) there is no true way of knowing whether or not they swiched.

Oh yeah! I'm good!

Ooooh.......
The subway series was always a favorite of mine because of the wingnut joke... but..... having just read back through the archives the thing I laughed hardest at.....

DARTH BAIO!

*snicker snicker*

Ahhh... the joys of fleshy cheeks, squishy poopies and light sabers. It doesn't get much better than that! The whole storyline had "class" written all over it!

Has to be:
        Kittens = Pop Tarts.

Endless fun re-reading it. A classic Goats series. It had one of my friends in stitches the first time she read it. And a truly surreal ending just makes it even better.

"So where do the pop tarts come from then?"

No question involved at all. Oh wait. Definately a question involved. Which Shazam Twix series is the best? I just don't know! They're all just so good!

(I was going to go back and read through the three to determine which was nominally my favorite, but I want to go to bed, so I'll stick with any and all Shazam Twix episodes for the time being. Speaking of which, given that I recall you saying somewhere that you would never stop Shazam Twix, when will we see the next one, Jon?)

Good question. I'd like to do one this year, but I don't want to force it. When inspiration strikes, and there's good reason to do one, I'll do one.

There's nothing worse than starting a storyline without a spark of inspiration. There have been a couple of them, and they haven't turned out all that well.

Spending my life producing web sites for clients who really shouldn't be allowed near a computer the series that reaches deepest into my soul has to be work it girl [goats.com]
Megan 'What sort of website are you looking for?'
Client 'I don't know... but whatever it does, it should do it automatically and only cost ten dollars.'

I loved 'Altered States (of pudding)'--though I wouldn't mind knowing what is up with the brackets. I don't even know where to begin with this storyline; it has everything from Evil Jon to pudding, Lori returns, post-it notes and most importantly: Herve Villechaise! I never watched the show much, but I'm a sucker for midgets.

"Unnatural Selection". It has everything: mendel & venter, celera stormtroopers, 80's song lyrics, sandwiches, ignorant school boards, the gold bikinis, oooooh the gold bikinis. Whats not to like about this series.

i must say that brains4zombies.com [goats.com] is my favorite series. why? because the idea is brilliant. and so realistic. i can assure you that, if this nation ever endured a sudden influx of "zombie-americans", some brilliant young computer nerd would come up with a similar idea. and he'd be rich for life.

Definitely, "Ceiling Babies and Accordion Players"... not only because of its historical significance (it contains the phrase "Why are there babies taped to the ceiling?" or variations thereof five times, which is three times more than those words had been uttered in the entire history of humanity), but because of my favorite Goats quote, that exclamation which crystallized the frantic despair of a generation of undersexed geeks, "Ah! Something moved! It moved! Does it love me?"

My absolute favorite would have to be Advanced Dungeons and Hamsters. I mean, where else can you seen an elf hamster get humped into a fine paste? Alright, so you don't actually get to see it but just the thought of it makes me giddy. Talk about a level 3 spell of superior comic creation.
